The Story Behind This Song...
My friend Scott sent me an interesting piece of music with
a title, "Star Thrower". I liked the music but I wasn't thrilled about the
title. It is a song about God, so the implication of "thrower" seemed careless,
arbitrary at best. I kept thinking about the scripture that describes God
"placing" each star with His fingers.
The song languished on my computer for weeks. One night, Scott asked about my
progress and I expressed my aversion to the word "thrower". He explained his
choice of the title this way:
"God's thoughts and His ways are SO much higher than ours that even when He
'throws' things into place, it is done with absolute perfection."
