June 2009 - Airplay On "The Big Station FM"!



Last week I sent out a message to all my MySpace friends inviting them to listen to and download my song "I Know About Good Dads" for Father's day. I was pleasantly surprised to receive the following from WKXN / WKXK-FM:

"Thanks for sharing, tune in Friday 8:45am to the Nic & Nan Morning Show www.thebigstation.fm because we're going to play it! - Nic & Nan"

Leading up to the designated time, Nic and Nan mentioned several times on-air how they discovered the song and how much they enjoyed it. They played the song and I was so excited that I couldn't help but call in and thank them.

They put me on the air and I told them about how my sister was making a special video for my Dad's 70th birthday and we couldn't find a song to fit so I wrote this one, and how later that year we almost lost my Dad, but he's doing fine now with his pacemaker and medication, praise God! They also said that people called in with positive comments about the song!

I am so very thankful to Nic and Nan! Hearing this song on the radio was such a blessing and I can't describe how much it meant to me and my family!
